Blog 1: What is Naturopathy and what is the benefit of it?

Hello! I'm Yoshimi. Thank you for coming to read my first blog on 2/2/23!! Woo Hoo!!
I'm going to start with "What is Naturopathy & what is the benefit of those"
I found a lot of people don't know what Naturopathy is. It is a crucial thing for me as a Naturopath!!!
Here are some ideas of what Naturopathy is.
Naturopathy is a holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on using natural remedies, therapies, and dietary and lifestyle advice to promote healing and prevent illness.
Some potential benefits of naturopathy are listed below:
Personalized treatment: Naturopaths take a comprehensive approach to treatment, treat the whole person - mind, body, and spirit - and tailoring treatment to individual needs. This personalized approach can lead to more effective treatment and better overall health outcomes.
Focus on prevention: In naturopathy the emphasis is on preventing illness before it occurs. Naturopaths work with patients to identify risk factors and make lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of chronic diseases and other health problems.
Natural remedies: Naturopaths use natural remedies and therapies, such as herbal medicine, nutrition counselling, dietary and lifestyle advice, and flower remedies to promote healing and support the body's natural ability to heal itself. This approach can help reduce the risk of side effects from pharmaceuticals and provide a more natural and gentle form of the treatment.
Integration with conventional medicine: Naturopathy can be used in conjunction with conventional medicine to provide a more comprehensive approach to healthcare. This can help patients achieve better health outcomes and reduce the need for more invasive treatments.
Those are the broad view of what Naturopathy is.
What do you think after reading those above? Was it what you imagined it would be? Was it different?
Naturopathy is more relaxed and takes a broader view of your health.

Have a lovely day!!
